Android app overview
HILIA started life as an Android app — get it on Google Play. It does hide & reveal on the phone itself, keeps your stego pictures in a private Vault, and can lock the whole app behind a passcode.

App vs web tool
| Android app | Web tool | |
|---|---|---|
| Hide & reveal | ✔ | ✔ |
| Private on-device vault | ✔ | — |
| App lock (passcode + biometric) | ✔ | — |
| XP leaderboard | ✔ | — |
| Probe & capacity | — | ✔ |
| Covert watermark (embed/extract/detect) | — | ✔ |
| Stamp & reveal | — | ✔ |
| Visible watermark | — | ✔ |
The app is built around on-phone hide & reveal and your private vault. The watermark features (covert, stamp, visible) live only in the web tool — it works fine in a mobile browser if you need them.
Compatibility
Images hidden with a compatible method reveal on either platform, provided the file travels untouched between devices — the same recompression rules apply. When moving stego images between phone and desktop, use a file transfer (drive link, cable, email attachment), never an inline photo share.
